With most little yinzers just coming off the winter school break, don’t be surprised if your kiddos are extra tired this weekend as they adjust back into school routines; it can take several weeks for kids to find their stride again. If your family is up for some weekend fun, we have some great options for kicking off the new year.

Check these out:

If you didn’t catch this amazing show during the holiday season, it’s open for just two more weekends before it closes until November. The model railroad museum, located in Gibsonia, has interactive models, play space, and tells the story of the Mon Valley during the heyday of steel. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Find hours and other information here.

Each weekend, the Andy Warhol Museum offers screen printing and other art mediums in their open family studio hours. This is included with museum admission. Screen printing ends at 4 p.m. when The Factory is open.
