Want to see something beautiful this summer? We’re excited to share some great opportunities for local families to enjoy Pittsburgh’s museums for free. Here’s what’s happening:

3 for Free

The Andy Warhol Museum, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and the Heinz History Center will be open to visitors free of charge every operating day throughout the month of August. This new offer, funded by the Regional Asset District initiative, is happening in addition to the annual free-admission RAD Days, which begin in September (more on that closer to the date).

  • Reserve timed tickets for the Warhol in August here (RAD discount will convert the tickets to free admission at checkout).
  • Click here for free Children’s Museum tickets (choose any August date).
  • And click here to reserve free Heinz History Center tickets for an August date.

Free teen memberships at the Carnegie Museums

The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh are offering free Teen Membership to all teens (13 to 18 years) who are residents of Pennsylvania. Teens under 18 just need the consent of parents or legal guardians in order to apply. Once they apply, teens get:

  • free general admission to Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center, and The Andy Warhol Museum
  • invitations to events and programming designed just for teen members
  • free reciprocal admission at 300+ ASTC museums and science centers
  • discounts on classes, camps, educational films at the Rangos Giant Cinema, laser shows, lectures, and special events
  • a 10% discount in museum stores and cafes (and a 20% store discount during Member Shopping Days)

This perk is kids only: Teen membership benefits don’t extend to parents, guardians, caregivers, household members, or additional guests. To apply for a Teen Membership, fill out the online application on the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh website or complete a paper application and return it at any of the four Carnegie Museums, or by mail to:
