This month, we hit a new milestone in the history of our nonprofit news outlet: For the first time, Kidsburgh stories earned a total of more than 1,000,000 pageviews in a 12-month span.  So we wanted to pause for a moment and say a big “thank you” to the growing community of Kidsburgh readers.

We’re grateful for the thousands of parents, caregivers and teachers who read Kidsburgh stories each week in search of resources and events to elevate the lives of the kids they’re raising.

Whether you explored our guides to local summer camps, great indoor pools and popular playgrounds, or you got creative with our Maker Monday projects or dug into stories about local education innovation, mental health, regional travel, spreading kindness and more, we hope that in the past year we’ve helped make parenting a little bit easier — and maybe just a little more fun.

We appreciate our talented team of freelance writers and Kristine Sorenson, our media partner at KDKA who is such a vital part of the Kidsburgh family. And, we also give big thanks to The Grable Foundation for their support in helping Kidsburgh grow from just an idea to what we are today.

No matter what kind of content you look for at Kidsburgh, we’re grateful you’re here. And we’re always listening: Send an e-mail if you’d like to tell us what kinds of stories are most useful to you and what would be most helpful to you in the coming months.

Thank you, from the Kidsburgh team!
