2021 Elly Awards Fundraiser


Join us for a virtual celebration of the incredible world of Pittsburgh's filmmaking community at the 2021 Annual Elly Awards!  Help bring our mission to life in celebrating Pittsburgh's vibrant film community in this "The Sky is the Limit" themed event! Our co-hosts, Pittsburgh-based celebrities (TBA!) will lead the evening festivities of various short films highlighting both the stories of Steeltown and honoring our incredible award recipients. Local filmmakers and production teams commissioned to make these films in their own creative style include: Vinegar Hill, LKF Ent Films, Two Kids with a Camera, DumpStar Media, CCAC filmmaker students and alums, Steeltown's Teen Film Crew, and many more to be added!! Our Awardees We are thrilled to honor George Jaber on this night with the 2021 Legacy Award for his incredible contribution to Pittsburgh's film education and community.  This year, the cast and crew of Mulligan, 93% calling Pittsburgh their home, honorably takes The 2021 Impact Award. Not to mention, our fantastic 2021 graduates of Steeltown's Teen Film Crew, the producers of the hit show, "The Reel Teens Pittsburgh", will be honored and celebrated for their fantastic accomplishments. Exclusive Ticket Perks Our celebrity hosts will end the night with a bang through a special VIP exclusive after-party.  Both VIP and Premium Ticket holders receive a special Steeltown branded commemorative charcuterie board to complement their gourmet meal for two from RathLindh catering.  The main features include a dinner of curried chicken or veggie hand pies, 2 Goat Cheese and Fig Puff Pasty Pockets, Parmesan Arancini with Creamy Tomato Sauce, and lemon cupcakes topped with blueberry swiss meringue buttercream icing. Additional A La Carte food selections will be available from RathLind to purchase. Additionally, The Tipsy Gipsy will be serving up themed cocktails available for purchase during food pick up. Food pickup will precede the festivities- more details on food pickup, along with A La Carte options will arrive through email. We will truly miss seeing tables of you, along with your friends and family celebrating in-person with us. We encourage you to share this event with your friends and families through our VIP and Premium Pod ticketing offers, so we can all celebrate this incredible evening together!
