WQED offers a range of helpful back-to-school resources
Our Kidsburgh team was glad to receive a recent WQED Kids newsletter that offers some great resources for the new school year.
The lists and advice they shared include:

But it isn’t always easy to connect with classmates and get along with one another. This list of 15 books can help kids and parents explore the idea of building friendships.
WQED’s Mindful Minutes YouTube series: These short videos give grownups and kids a chance to take a quiet breath and relax together. They introduce calming activities like mindful breathing, practicing gratitude, relaxing stretches and more. Find them all right here.
Morning and bedtime routines: This easy, step-by-step advice from PBS Kids for Parents will lead children and their grownups through the fun and creative process of building helpful routines for morning and evening. Find it right here.
WQED also shares these videos to help with School Readiness Skills and five easy recipes for healthy, kid-friendly snacks and meals, courtesy of Sesame Workshop.
