SUMMARY:The Bible Chapel Arts Camp
DESCRIPTION:Let’s get creative this summer at The Bible Chapel! Whether you are passionate about fine arts or simply want to learn more about expressing yourself through creativity\, Art Camp at The Bible Chapel is for you! You’ll spend four days making friends while you dive into different art forms\, including dance\, music\, and visual arts. \nArts Camps run July 22-25. \nCreative Movement \nYour child will leap\, jump\, and spin with joy in a fun and encouraging environment as they improve coordination\, rhythm skills\, and creativity through movement. \nEach class will include a warm-up\, stretch\, across the floor activity\, and use of elements such as ribbons\, scarves\, and billows. \nClasses taught by Danielle Black\, founder of Grace Christian Dance Company. \nChoose one of these options for each of your dancers: \n\n9:00-9:30 AM – ages 2 and 3 with an adult caregiver (limited to six registrants)\n10:00-10:30 AM – *ages 3 and 4 (limited to eight registrants)\n11:00-11:30 AM – ages 5 and 6 (limited to eight registrants)\n\n*Child must be able to separate from their caregiver and walk into class independently. \n$45.00 Registration fee\, includes a supervised lunch for student and one adult caregiver. \nPrivate Guitar Instruction\nSo you want to play guitar? Then be a rock star! \nAdvance your guitar skills with customized private lessons taught by Kirk Voller\, Worship Pastor at The Bible Chapel’s South Hills Campus. \nChoose 30-minute or 45-minute long daily lesson options. These classes are for beginners age 13 years and older to advanced players.  Must provide own guitar. \n$55 for 30 minutes or $65 for 45 minutes registration fee. Supervised lunch included. \nReady! Aim! DRAW! \nFor we are his workmanship\, created in Christ Jesus for good works\, which God prepared beforehand\, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 \nFrom the South Hills to the Louvre\, art is a gift that God gives us to celebrate His creativity! You’ll have fun learning how to draw your self-portrait\, and then put your masterpiece on exhibition in the Connections Cafe gallery! \nThe class will be taught by art teacher Robin McCloskey.  This class is for students who have completed grades 3rd through 8th. \n$65.00 registration fee. Supervised lunch included. \nNextGen Worship Track\nSpend the week honing your singing and band playing skills with a squad of musicians\, including songwriting and song development. \nUnder the energetic leadership of Rick Butor\, and the stunning musicianship of Suzie Ackerman\, have a blast making music! This class is for students who have completed 5th grade through 12th grade. Please bring your own guitar if that’s what you play. \nRock out as you showcase your work before an enthusiastic audience at the end of camp! \n$50.00 Registration fee. Supervised lunch included. \n\n\nPlease confirm age range of the class before submitting.\nSupervised lunch is included for all campers.\nIf you provide snacks for your campers\, please provide peanut free snacks.\nOnce you have registered\, you will receive your camp packet with information about the camp you have registered for.\nCamp cancellation policy: Registrations are non-refundable after Noon on Friday\, July 19.\n\nTBC ARTS CAMP POLICIES\nSevere Weather – In case of severe weather\, please call the camp director for a recorded voice message 614-570-8825. Camps will not be made up and registrations refunds will be prorated by August 31\, 2019. \nRefunds/Credits – Registrations are non refundable after noon on Friday\, July 19. After the deadline\, or during camp week\, a written statement from a physician must be submitted for a refund. If a camper decides to drop out during camp for non-medical reasons\, the registration is non-refundable.
