DESCRIPTION:Saltworks Studio is a place to imagine\, explore\, and create! Our classes\, camps\, and workshops offer youth a warm\, welcoming\, and relaxed environment to dream up and perform original pieces of theater that range from silly improvised scenes to plays about the change our students would like to see in their world. With an emphasis on having fun\, positive attitudes\, and collaboration\, our programming encourages students to improve theater and communication skills at their own pace\, whether they’re brand new to acting or have been involved for years. \nSMini Workshop Series Focusing on “The Actor’s Toolkit”: Perfect for either an introduction to acting or for polishing existing skills! \nTuesdays\, 6:30-8:00pm\, Ages 10-16\, $15 each \n11/26 Stage Body: We’ll work on creating physically distinct characters and expressing emotions from head to toe \n12/3 Stage Voice: We’ll work on enunciation and projection then apply those skills to creating unique character voices \n12/10 Stage Presence: We’ll work on the nuances of performance\, like acting between the lines\, comedic and dramatic timing\, and motivated movement \nRegister for class and all three workshops for a total discounted price of just $150! \nAll programming takes place at 569 N Neville Street\, Pittsburgh\, 15213 \nRegister online at saltworks.org \nScholarships available! \nQuestions? rsmith@saltworks.org or (412) 621-6150 ext. 205
