DESCRIPTION:This workshop will explore the art form of dance. Participants will be taken through activities that will loosen up their bodies\, introduce them to some of the foundational elements of dance\, and put it all together into their own personal dance style. The workshop will culminate in participants working together to create a piece of choreography that everyone can rock in their own style\, and will finish off with a full body cooldown that will send everyone off feeling both funky and peaceful. Whether you want to upgrade your Zoom dance party grooves or just get your body moving \, this class will be great for the whole family!

SUMMARY:EQT Children’s Theater Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is excited to announce that the EQT Children’s Theater Festival will be live and in-person again in 2022. The last in-person Festival took place in 2019\, with multiple iterations of the event taking place online to help children connect with the arts throughout the pandemic. Now in its 36th year\, this EQT Children’s Theater Festival fosters imagination through high-quality professional theater performances from around the world. This year’s featured arts groups and performers hail from France\, South Korea\, Switzerland\, and the United States. \nTwo virtual field trips will also be offered for educators and families from May 13\, 2022 – June 22\, 2022.
