SUMMARY:IU1 Camp Tech Virtual Edition
DESCRIPTION:Camp Tech is a summer camp for students entering grades 3-8 in the fall of 2020. Students will explore science\, technology\, engineering\, math\, computer science and more with new and innovative technology! Students can select up to FOUR (4) virtual sessions on a day that fits their (and your) schedule. They do not have to take all four sessions and may choose to only take one\, or maybe two or three\, but they are welcome to join us for all four on a day of their choice! \nThrough IU1 Virtual Camp Tech students will meet virtually with their instructors for a ONE day camp. Students will join the instructor in live video sessions (via Google Meet) at scheduled times and all activity/lesson plans will be available in a Camp Tech Google Classroom (a google email address will be required to access session work). Outside of these sessions\, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly through Google Classroom. Students will join the session live with their instructor from 10:00AM to 11:00AM* to learn the tool they will be using and how to create their projects. Once the live session has ended students will then work on their projects outside of the scheduled session time and join the instructors live for a quick check-in at 2:30PM to share out their projects or ask additional questions (the afternoon check-in will be from 2:30PM to 3:00PM). Each session has been developed to create more opportunities for real-time activities\, engaging projects\, and interaction with  camp mates.
