DESCRIPTION:Healthy Kids Running Series in Canonsburg is a national\, community-based non-profit that provides a fun\, inclusive five-week running series for ages 2-14\, designed for kids to get active\, feel accomplished and lay the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. The program was initially founded in 2009 to combat increasing rates of childhood obesity in America. The running program provides a fun environment and builds self-esteem. The kids accumulate points each week with the final week full of medals\, trophies\, and other awards to reward the children for their efforts.
