SUMMARY:Woodworking Class for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Interested in having your child handle a hammer with the same dexterity as they handle an Ipad? This introductory woodworking class is an opportunity for children (ages 6-10) to learn about and engage in the building process—from idea to prototype to build—and challenge their imagination as they make STEAM-based projects that combine problem-solving\, engineering\, woodworking and lots of fun. \nUnder trained supervision\, children will learn how to use measuring devices\, clamps\, handsaws\, hammer and nails and a drill press while also learning about joinery techniques and gears\, as they work on multiple projects they can take home and enjoy again and again.

They will also include sensory play options (water\, sand\, dough\, etc.)\, dramatic play\, nature investigations\, and collaborative experiences. All materials we select to use with young children are non-toxic and age-appropriate. \nWe are leaders in early childhood process art and dedicated to creating innovative\, unique environments and invitations for you and your child to explore.
