Each household will receive a box full of fresh dairy and produce items from local donors Schneider’s Dairy and Paragon Foods\, available thanks to the USDA’s Farmers to Families food box program. \nAt 11:00 a.m.\, 412 Food Rescue’s walk-up and drive-up distribution will begin in Edgewood/Swissvale. This event was organized by Steven Halle\, who received 412 Food Rescue’s Carmen Pariese Volunteer of the Year Award in January. Halle has completed 317 food rescues with the organization and is also a Firefighter and EMT in Edgewood. This distribution is in partnership with the Edgewood Volunteer Fire Department\, Edgewood Police\, and Swissvale Police: \nSaturday\, August 29\, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. \nEdgewood Town Centre\, 1763 South Braddock Avenue\, Swissvale\, PA 15218 \n
