SUMMARY:Monroeville Library Star Party
DESCRIPTION:Monroeville Public Library is inviting families of all ages to attend a very special evening: our sixth annual Star Party. \nOur host is Fred Klein\, a member of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh. Mr. Klein\, along with several fellow members of the association\, will be sharing knowledge\, expertise\, and plenty of telescope equipment to showcase the wonders of the Milky Way Galaxy. This is your chance to stargaze up close and personal while also learning more about our nearest celestial neighbors – and beyond! \nThe Star Party is scheduled for Saturday\, October 12\, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (rain date\, Sunday\, October 13). The Party will not be held at the Library. We’ll be meeting at Beechwood Park\, located behind Ramsey Elementary School. \nAll families are welcome to attend\, though this program is not recommended for children under the age of six. There is no fee and no need to register. \nBe sure to check out our website for more information about our Star Party\, or to find out what other great events we’re planning at the library: www.monroevillelibrary.org. We hope to see you under the stars!
