SUMMARY:Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre: Student Audition Day
DESCRIPTION:Calling all budding ballet dancers ages 8-13!  \nOn September 9 at PBT Studios\, our faculty will be hosting auditions for level placement into our 2020/2021 School Year Student Division classes. Scholarship opportunities available! \nStudent Division classes this year will vary in format between all in-studio\, hybrid and all virtual options. For more specifics on each level please visit the Student Division page here. In the PBT School Student Division\, dancers are challenged to strengthen their ballet technique while working on placement\, musicality\, pre -pointe\, pointe and jazz. All Student Division classes are taught by esteemed faculty and accompanied by live music. \nThe audition fee is $10. Audition pre-registration required. Participants will also need to complete a COVID waiver and Pre-audition health screening form.\n**The deadline to pre-register for the audition is Tuesday\, Sept. 8 by 10 a.m.\nMinimum one year prior ballet training required. \nIN-STUDIO SAFETY PROTOCOLS\nAll students will be required to wear a mask during the audition. Students will be spaced 6 feet apart at the barre and work in 12X12 foot squares during center work.  \nSeptember 9 Audition Schedule:\n4 p.m. – Check In / Registration\n4:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Audition Class
