Maker Monday: Monogram Splatter Art

This fun Maker Monday project creates gorgeous Monogram Splatter Art suitable for hanging. It’s a cool project for a range of ages, with smaller kids needing just a bit more guidance.

We found canvas board at local craft stores, but they’re even cheaper at the dollar store! If you haven’t any canvas board on hand, use stiff white cardboard.

Begin by making an initial with masking tape on the canvas.

Choose your color scheme and begin with one color at a time, splattering it over the canvas. Allow the paint to dry in between colors to prevent muddying the shades. We used a hair dryer set on cool to help the drying process move along more quickly.

Once the final color is applied and dry, peel off the tape. Ta-da! You’re left with a bright white monogram!
