Maker Monday: Glowing Olympic Torch

We’re just days away from the 2018 Winter Olympics! To help build excitement, we’ve created a fun selection of Maker Monday Olympic activities over the past few weeks. Check out our speeding Luge Racers, the Action Skaters, and the no-sew Skater Skirt.

This week, we’re looking at the opening ceremonies with a Glowing Olympic Torch so kids can join the procession at home in front of the TV.

Most materials can be found at home or picked up at the dollar store.

Apply glue in the center of the cupcake paper cup. Fold up the layered tissue squares and insert into the paper cup. Fluff the tissue apart to create the flames.
