The national education publication EdWeek has put out a call to families all across the country. They want to hear about the unsung heroes — hardworking school administrators who are lifting up your community and leading your school district forward to a better post-pandemic future.

If you know a school leader who is committed to transforming the lives of the students, staff, and communities they serve, you’re invited to nominate them for EdWeek’s Leaders To Learn From 2023. The nomination deadline is Aug. 31.

For nearly a decade, Leaders To Learn From has helped to highlight all levels of district leadership — everyone from superintendents to food-service leaders, from transportation and facilities managers to counseling staff.

You can nominate any district administrator whose work impacts students at the district level. It’s free to submit a nomination and you can nominate more than one person. This can include superintendents, but previous honorees have held leadership roles in many areas including teaching and learning, food services, transportation, student and family engagement, and equity.

Curious to see who has won this honor in the past? You can learn about past honorees here.

The 2023 winners will be announced in February in the EdWeek Leaders To Learn From special report.
