The Education Partnership featured on local podcast show for moms

Kidsburgh is proud to have Justin Brown, the executive director of The Education Partnership (TEP), on our Advisory Board. The Education Partnership’s mission is to address educational inequities by providing access to resources that support teachers and enhance a student’s ability to learn and succeed. TEP provides school and classroom supplies at no charge to schools where at least 70% of the school body qualifies for the National School Lunch Program.

Brown was recently interviewed on Mom Talk with Denise LaRosa, a podcast show hosted by local mom and former elementary school teacher, Denise LaRosa. With 96 schools eligible for TEP’s program within its six county reach (Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland), Brown discusses numerous ways TEP is fulfilling this educational need, how families can access TEP’s resources and how more fortunate families can help.
