World Migratory Bird Day

May 10 @ 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and community partners for a bird-centric celebration at the Frick Environmental Center! This year’s theme is Shared Spaces: Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities. Early May is one of the peak times for spring bird migration in Pittsburgh—especially for songbirds like warblers, vireos, thrushes, orioles, and more. Learn how to make your community more bird-friendly by attending our morning birding events and a Bird-Friendly Initiatives in Pittsburgh: Exhibition + Talk with Bird Lab. Enjoy bird-friendly activities with Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy staff and community partners, like the National Aviary, Pittsburgh Park Rangers, Allegheny Goatscape, BirdSafe Pittsburgh, the Intersectional Bird Club of Pittsburgh, and more!
