Virtual Cardigan Day

As part of WQED’s 65th anniversary and Year of Kindness, everyone is invited to participate in a virtual CARDIGAN DAY on November 13.
The public is invited to stop by WQED in Oakland between 8am and 2pm for warm drinks, kindness activities, and to see MISTER ROGERS: JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, an interactive mixed-media portrait by artist Wayne Brezinka. The piece is on public display in the WQED concourse weekdays between noon and 3pm until December 19.
Everyone is encouraged to come wearing their cardigans, take a selfie in front of the artwork, and post the image to your social streams at #cardiganday. A virtual cardigan party can spread across all of our very real neighborhoods.
