Advanced Beginner’s Chess Class builds on skills learned in Beginner’s Chess Class. We expand our thinking from the basics of chess to learning, developing, and implementing strategies to improve our game. Students are introduced to grandmasters and their games as well as opportunities and tips for competing in tournaments and competitions. We also learn how to notate and use clocks in our games.
