Pittsburgh Penguins: Kids Breaking Barriers (virtual)

February 10, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Penguins will host a unique ‘Kids Breaking Barriers’ virtual panel, which will be an opportunity for kids
to not only hear from NHL executives, youth community leaders, and fellow youth hockey players, but to ask them questions as well. Having a forum that promotes open dialogue for children to receive support and guidance as they embark on their hockey journeys is incredibly important, as the Penguins are fully committed to not only getting more Black kids exposed to the game, but to have more diversity in the NHL by drafting Black players from Pittsburgh.

Special guests:

Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman

David Morehouse, Chief Executive Officer, President of the Pittsburgh Penguins

Girls Youth Hockey player and her Dad, Team USA, Mite tier 3 at the RMU Island Sport Center (Offensive Player)

Moderated by: Dorin Dickerson, Director, Lower Hill Development, Pittsburgh Penguins
