Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Earth Day 2018 at Frick Environmental Center

At the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, every day is Earth Day! In honor of international Earth Day, hundreds of Pittsburgh neighbors come to Frick Park for our free community celebration.

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Earth Day 2018 at Frick Environmental Center | Schedule of Events

Friday, April 20th

6 – 9PM | Community Campfire*
Join us for an all-ages community campfire under the stars. We’ll have the fire and sticks, you bring your own hot dogs and s’more fixings. Note: This event takes place at Falls Ravine Shelter (click here for directions to nearby trail entrance).


Saturday, April 21st

8 – 11AM | Volunteer Event
Make a positive mark on your park as a volunteer! This event is held in partnership with Comcast. PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required. Click here for registration.

11:30AM – 4PM | Naturalist-led Walks and Hikes
Join Parks Conservancy naturalists and partners from across the city for a variety of hikes and activities throughout Frick Park. Hikes last approximately one hour. Walks are each one hour long and start at noon, 1:30PM, and 3PM.

Ongoing | Activites, Events, and Eats
Throughout Earth Day 2018 you can also find and experience local vendors, organizations, and artists. Stay tuned for more information.
