Mini Makers Art Class

Get ready for fun, surprise, first discoveries, and new memories made! During this developmental stage, we believe that choice, autonomy, and child-led experiences help connect children to art making and the world around them. Led by experienced early childhood and art educators, the class opens with a greeting and circle time. Following that, your child will explore 4-5 stations at their own pace.
The stations include a variety of traditional art materials and processes to discover like paint, sculpture, printmaking, and collage. They will also include sensory play options (water, sand, dough, etc.), dramatic play, nature investigations, and collaborative experiences. All materials we select to use with young children are non-toxic and age appropriate. We are leaders in early childhood process art and dedicated to creating innovative, unique environments and invitations for you and your child to explore.
A primary focus in this class is developing strong relationships and community and we would love for you to spend the year making art with us. Please feel free to sign up for the entire year with your child, a 15% discount has already been applied. If you would like to register for a half session (5 consecutive weeks at the beginning or end of a session, please email us at hello@hatchpgh.com) A caregiver must attend and be actively present during this class.
