Family Mornings in The Scandinavian Home
Explore “The Scandinavian Home: Landscape and Lore” exhibition through play during these bimonthly drop-in gallery experiences! With a focus on depictions of heroic princesses, mythic creatures, vikings, trolls, and evil stepmothers, these 20-30 minute sessions will feature a variety of works from the exhibition. Activities will vary based on the ages and interests of participants and may include close-looking, games, song, and story time.
Participants will join a Frick educator in the Frick Art Museum rotunda at the start of the program before moving into the galleries as a group. While visitors of all ages are welcome, this activity is best suited for children ages 2-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Free with the cost of exhibition admission.
