Free, Family-Friendly Arts Celebration with Live Performances, Art Demonstrations, Crafts, & More!

Join the August Wilson African American Center and Hazelwood Local on RIDC’s Mill 19 South Porch for a FREE day celebrating the Arts.

AWCommunity Day is a family-friendly event that features local vendors, artisans, performers, bites & sips, and community camaraderie. Come join us in this unique space to enjoy live music, theater, art, and more!

October’s event will include performances by:

*Accessibility considerations: ASL interpreter provided. The performance area of the event is concrete and wheelchair accessible. The vendor and food spaces are packed gravel and grass.

Free street and lot parking is available at Hazelwood Green. There is also a PRT stop, but be sure to confirm the weekend schedule from and to your location.
