6 ways kids can see free (or super cheap) summer movies in Pittsburgh

Summer season is a great time to watch movies with the kids in Pittsburgh. Escape hot summer days in an air-conditioned theater or unwind on balmy nights with movie viewing under the stars. There are lots of opportunities to do both this summer without paying for pricey tickets. Some theaters offer admission as low as $1 to top-quality feature films your kids will love.

Many of these family-friendly movies are from the past year. Some are as new as recent releases like “Missing “Link,” “Bigfoot” and “How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World.”
